1. Wie wurde Musik dein Leben und deine Karriere?
I actually grew up with music – thanks to my mum and dad, who always played all kind of music in the car, at home, at our dance party’s in the house and so on. When i was 12 years old I started my first “professionial” music experience while playing a role in the musical “The Sound of Music” in a big theatre in the Netherlands. After that experience i knew for sure that my future would be on stage.
2. Was hat dich dazu bewegt Musiker zu werden?
Of course I love to be in the center of attention, but most of all I love to make people happy or touched by my perfomance. Music is the language that everyone understands.
3. Was würdest du machen, wenn du kein Musiker wärst?
Probably a visagist or stylist. I love to be creative in any way.
4. Wie bist du zu Fresh Music Live gekommen?
A woman from Holland introduced me to Daniel. I did a first show in Garmisch Partenkirchen with the band as sort of a try out and then Daniel gave me the chance to join the club. I am more than proud to be one of the main singers from Fresh Music Live. I actually still think my life now is what i dreamt of when i was a little girl – i am singing all around the world, with the most crazy talented people to work with!
5. Welchen Titel würdest Du dir innerhalb der Band geben?
Oooh, really good question, I think at first a funny Wirbelwind. But I hope the rest of the band will look at me like someone you can count on, music wise but also as a friend.
6. Was bedeutet Fresh Music Live für Dich?
For me FML is my family. I know it sounds so corny and cliche, but its really true. I feel comfortable and welcome from the first day I joined. FML teached me so much in the last few years and thanks to everyone I grew as an artist and person. I´m forever thankful for the people I met and the chances I got and I can’t wait for all the big adventures and trips we will make in the future!
7. Welcher Ort / Location war der / die schönste den Du mit FML bespielt hast?
Gleneagles, Scotland was really an amazing location. But also the wedding we did in Italy last year was like a movie.
8. Mit welchem SängerIn / MusikerIn würdest Du gerne einen Tag tauschen und warum?
I would love to be JLO for a day. Not only for her amazing ass and hair and the rest of her beautiful stunning body and face. But the way she´s doing shows, the combination of dancing, singing, costumes, lights, performance everything is a DREAM!
9. In welchen Projekten spielst Du neben FML?
In the Netherlands I play with my sister as a DJ/Vocal duo, and sometimes as a solo singer. Nothing exclusive though.
10. Erzähle uns von deiner schönsten oder schlimmsten Erfahrung auf der Bühne.
Sometimes when i´m on the beginning of a catwalk from a big stage, with lights and everything I really have my JLO moments where I feel like im a real star. That are my most pretty moments I guess.
